Christmas Cubes
Through this production project, I explored on a much larger scale and format of typography, illustration and hands-on production design. I created a complex production piece, creating the words and illustrations related to Christmas and Christ, by printing, taping and cutting out the design. Along with building the cubes, I composed a large-scale, visual aesthetic with an appealing look. The outcome was part of a stage design that both grabbed the attention of people when they first walked into the Hickory Hills Presbyterian Church worship space, as well as set the tone for worship and celebration for the 2017 Christmas Eve service.
